Alignment of genetic linkage maps

There is ongoing effort between a number of laboratories to align and orientate existing genetic linkage maps, so that they may be integrated and provide greater resolution. Additional efforts associated with the MBrSP Sequencing project are ensuring that there is easy navigation between genetic maps and genome sequence.
